Tuesday 23rd May from 5pm
£27 per person, with £2.50 going straight to Slow Food Garden in Africa appeal
For our next Regional Night we are moving away from Europe to East Africa for a Tanzanian Night!
Tanzanian cuisine is hugely varied across different regions of the country, often with heavy influences from Indian cuisine. Many of the traditional dishes only have Swahili names, but we have done our best to translate into English for those of us not fluent in Swahili!
As usual you will get to try a sample of all the starters and sweets, the only decision you will have to make is which main you would like!
(grilled chicken wings, garlic & paprika)
(spicy black pudding, ginger & chilli)
kisamvu samosa (v)
(spinach & peanut samosa)
kiazi kitamu pilau, chapati (v)
(sweet potato pilau, chapati)
(fried gurnard, coconut curry sauce)
nyama choma & ugali
(BBQ goat & cornmeal mush)
(pancake, pineapple & coconut)
We look forward to seeing you on the night!
